The TGi Group opened the doors to its new Hawthorne showroom—a compact yet powerfully functional space crafted specifically for designers, contractors, and homeowners involved in active renovations. Situated in Ottawa’s east end, this new space is not just a showroom—it’s a material selection hub, collaboration studio, and launchpad for high-end construction projects.
Unlike sprawling retail showrooms, the TGI Hawthorne location was purpose-built to focus on what matters most: materials, space planning, and client experience. A floor-to-ceiling quartz and tile library anchors one wall, giving visitors the ability to view large-format surfaces under consistent lighting. Across the room, designer worktables with integrated storage serve as collaborative zones for laying out blueprints, pulling finishes, and making real-time design decisions.
“One of the goals was to create a space where selections happen fast and confidently,” says the lead designer on the project. “Clients aren’t overwhelmed by volume. Everything here has been curated to reflect what we actually use in real renovations.”
A small kitchenette and coffee station provide a welcoming touch for visiting clients and suppliers, while millwork throughout the space showcases TGI’s craftsmanship. The space supports quick turnover meetings, sample swaps, and design consultations, making it ideal for professionals and homeowners alike.
Set to open in April 2025, the TGI Hawthorne showroom represents a new phase for the company—focused on expanding its physical presence without sacrificing the efficiency that drives its projects.
